Q1. What is a liveness check?
A1. A liveness check is used to confirm that the person presenting the ID is a real, live human not a photo, video, or mask. Metric includes a “Liveness Checks with Metric” section in the documentation with full details.

Q2. How long does verification take?
A2. Verification typically takes between 5–20 seconds, depending on network speed and image quality.

Q3. What happens if a user’s document or image is rejected?
A3. If verification fails due to issues like poor image quality, unmatched details, or an unsupported document, Metric will return a failure result or request a retry. Your app should prompt the user to try again or use an alternate verification method.
